Meet Nicole – Owner of Wiggle Zone Doggy Daycare
Wiggle Zone Doggy Daycare isn’t just a business—it’s the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. After an accomplished career as a clinician and later as a device sales specialist in the cardiovascular field, Nicole was ready for her next adventure. When a Next Door post revealed the opportunity to acquire a local doggy daycare, she seized the chance without hesitation. With her background in healthcare and a passion for dogs, Nicole transformed the business into a haven where every pup is treated like family.
Nicole’s love for dogs…
began at the tender age of 3 with her very first pup, Cuddles. Since then, she has lovingly cared for many special-needs dogs, each of whom has left an indelible mark on her heart and enriched her expertise in canine care. Among these cherished companions were:
Cleo:
Born with a congenital eye tumor that required surgery just weeks after birth, Cleo’s resilience inspired Nicole from the start.
Scooter:
After being attacked by a larger dog and suffering a stroke event, Scooter underwent a remarkable rehabilitation. Later, with a congenital valve murmur that eventually progressed to heart failure, Scooter thrived with a diligent medical regimen—walking daily and relishing his time outdoors for two additional years.
Though these beloved pups have passed on,
Nicole’s family has grown. Today, four new furry members—two bichons and two shih tzus—are part of her family. They not only serve as her constant companions but also enjoy meeting every new pup that walks through the Wiggle Zone door. All said, Nicole has been a dog parent for over 20 years!
Beyond exceptional dog care, Nicole is deeply committed to building a vibrant community of dog families. She curates unique events that bring both pups and their owners together, creating unforgettable experiences and cherished memories. From doggy yoga and canine massage classes to sound bath/Reiki sessions. Educational workshops on dog health (including first aid, CPR, and nutrition) also ensure that every event is designed to nurture bonds and promote well-being.
Nicole is also passionate about fostering relationships with fellow dog business owners—especially women in the industry—to share resources, insights, and support.

Janet
began working at doggy daycare in April 2023, after a long career as a paralegal at a major food company. Dogs have been a big part of her entire adult life. She especially enjoys helping new dogs settle in to a consistent routine at daycare and loves watching dogs interact with their daycare buddies.
Karen
has always had a special bond with animals, especially dogs since she was young. With experience in pet sitting and a passion for caring for pups, she loves making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved at daycare. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or just a comforting presence, she treats every pup like family.
